Why breed to Gluecks ?
Gluecks is a full papered Hanoverian stallion. He is registered with the Canadian Sport Horse Association (CSHA) and has achieved his Silver Premium status in dressage.
He passes his superb characteristics to his offspring; powerful movement, scope, wonderful temperament and of course his good looks!

When you breed your mare to Glueckspferd you are not trusting to luck. This is because Gluecks has a double-G-line in his bloodlines: Gotthard on top and bottom, which provides reliability in breeding and prowess for many disciplines.
Therefore your foal has an excellent chance of inheriting Gluecks' tremendous and enviable characteristics. Of course the mare and her bloodlines matter a great deal, but Gluecks has a way of passing or stamping his greatest attributes onto his babies (see his progeny pages for an introduction to some of his offspring).

He is proving to be an excellent sire for most types of mares and an especially good cross to Thoroughbred and Anglo-Arab mares, adding powerful quarters together with bone and substance.
