Another gorgeous Gluecks baby is growing up fast! :: 23rd October 2010

Gambol is only 2 years old but is already a good size (over 16hh) and his owner says she has never had a horse so willing to work - she just loves him! That's the Gluecks temperament! He has such gorgeous markings he is sure to be a show-stopper!

Melanie and Gluecks had a great day at the KRF schooling show - scoring 71.3% ! Gluecks showed himself to be a true champion and had fun in the process. Keep up the good work!



Galaron is growing up fast! :: 19th June 2010

Crystal absolutely loves her Gluecks' baby - who is now 4 years old! So much so that he is going to have a full brother or sister in the near future!

Gaia Grows Up :: 7th June 2010

Our baby is growing up fast! She is now 3 years old and after a successful weekend at the Peter Campbell colt starting clinic she is now a riding horse!

Our thanks to Jewels Vysniauskas who started Gaia, and to Peter who coached.

Watch out for Gaia in the show ring next summer!

News on Gadget from Central Canada :: 22nd January 2010

Connie writes with news on her lovely Gluecks' baby, "Gadget"

She describes him as a wonderful, sweet horse with lots of presence. He is smart and definitely an overachiever! Although he had no previous jumping experience, Connie spent a month in the States last summer training and competing in Eventing at novice level and he will move up to training level next year. Peter Campbell Clinic :: 11th July 2009

Melanie and Gluecks enjoyed their second successful clinic with Peter this weekend.



Breeding action comes in a rush! :: 8th June 2009

On the same day that Gluecks was at the vets to breed a thoroughbred mare, he had a son and a granddaughter born!

Melanie & Gluecks attend a Peter Campbell clinic :: 5-8th June 2009

Melanie and Gluecks successfully completed their first Peter Campbell horsemanship clinic at the Cochrane Ag Society this weekend.

The pair had a great weekend, with amazing results and invaluable tips and advice from Peter.



Congratulations to Lauren & Garamond :: 22nd February 2009

Garamond, Gluecks' eldest son, jumped clear in all 5 rounds at Spruce Meadows this weekend, winning third place with his rider Lauren Evans.

Well done to them both!

Glimmer grows up! :: 25th September 2008

Glimmer is a 3 year old Glueckspferd daughter just starting light training. She has really grown into a beautiful replica of her sire, both colouring and physique.

Grandioso :: 11th September 2008

Grandioso, by Grosso Z (Grosso Z is also Gluecks' dam's sire), wins the Markel/USEF National Young Horse Championships for 6 year olds. He has an average score of 72.273%

Spruce Meadows' Masters :: 8th September 2008

Photos of Gluecks and his babies were displayed in the CSHA booth at the Spruce Meadows' Masters.

Look out for more Glueckspferd advertising in the coming months as he will be open to outside mares in the 2009 season.

Gluecks' first baby of the year has arrived!
"Gaia" (Goddess of the Earth) is a beautiful bay filly out of our own Anglo-Arab (CSHA) mare, Pippa.
Both mother and baby are happy and healthy.

Eldest son jumps clear! :: 4 Feb 2007

Having already shown his talents in dressage, Gluecks' eldest son, Garamond II, is now doing the same in the show jumping world! He jumped 2 clear rounds at a recent schooling show demonstrating his natural talent and his wonderful temperament in a chaotic atmosphere!



Provincial Championships in Red Deer :: 17 Sep 2006
15th-17th September 2006 was the weekend for the Western Canadian and Provincial Championships for Dressage in Alberta. Glueckspferd's eldest son, Garamond, of Browning Farms, was entered in the FEI 4 Year Old competition. Garamond, impressed the panel of International Judges winning the Western Canadian Championship for FEI 4 Year Old with an overall score of 71% and then taking the Provincial Championship with a combined score of 74%.


The Albrecht Heidemann Clinic :: 30 Aug 2006
Gluecks took part in the clinic with Albrecht and had a very successful two days. Albrecht commented that he had "...always liked this horse....he never says no...you have a Grand Prix horse on your hands..."


WEG 2006 :: 27 Aug 2006
Congratulations to Hannah Marland at her wonderful vaulting performance at the 2006 World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany. Well done and thanks for representing Canada at a world class event.
We are especially pleased because Hannah and her mum Becky have selected Glueckspferd to be the sire of their next vaulting prospect, by their mare Della. We wish you a healthy, happy foal next year!
